Curious kids need to be tough inside



Child immune system is very important as it is the main criteria that affect child health. A proper immune system will help the child body to fight diseases that was caused by organism such as bacteria, fungi, parasites and viruses. This type of organism is all over the place and even in the air that we breathe, and obviously, we cannot prevent our child to be in contact with these organisms.



A strong immune system will prevent a child from getting sick,
but a
weak immune system will cause a child to have a frequent visit to the clinic.



1) BREASTFEED

Breastfeed your child as it is neccessary
This can definitely ease your worry
Do not use formula milk in a hurry
If you do, just follow the regulatory


Breastfeeding had been known as a natural source to boost your child immune system. The longer it is the better. It is rich with all the nutrition that your child need. Breast milk contains turbo-charged immunity-enhancing antibodies and white blood cells. It will also contains Colostrum, that flows from the breasts during the first few days after birth, try not to miss this even if you are not planning to have your child to be breastfeed by you after a few months. 2) NUTRITION

All children (my child included) will love to go out and play. Instead of leaving them to play pointless games outside, why don’t we ask them to join us exercising? According to Kathi Kemper, M.D., director of the Center for Holistic Pediatric Education and Research at Children's Hospital, in Boston, studies of adults show that sleep deprivation can make you more susceptible to illness by reducing natural killer cells, immune-system weapons that attack microbes and cancer cells. The same holds true for children. Children that was send to a day care will have difficulty to have sufficient sleep as their time will be occupied with playing or maybe the noisy condition is not suitable for them to sleep. My child was send to a day care, but I will make sure she goes to bed early every night to cover up the sleeping hours.

5) CLEAN ENVIRONMENT

Cleaning your house is neccessary
It will definitely affect your baby
Smoking and toxic will decrease your child ability
It will be better if you try to reduce that possibilty


A dirty and a full of toxic environment can jeopardize your child immune system. Either chemical permeating in our environment or a smoke from a cigarette, it can decrease your child ability to fight off common infection or serious disease such as cancer. Children breathe at a faster rate and their detoxification system is also less developed. This will cause the affects to be more serious to children compared to adults. Please ensure your children provided with a clean environment by choosing to stay at a place that is not so near with an industrial park. If you or your husband is smoking, please ensure you smoke outside the house, or even better quit smoking for good.

6) LOVE & ATTENTION

Love and attention is the cheapest way
But how many of us are willing to pay?

We have limited time during the day
Try to give time if they have anything to say

The easiest immune system booster by far is love and attention. A lovable child is a happy child. Happiness (laughter/positive attitude) can stimulate the cells of the immune system. An unhappy child or children who are having an emotional stress will have a decrease in their immune system and their resistance to diseases. So, what you need to do is to set aside some time for them and show them that you care. Have you hug your child today?

7) PREVENT ANTIBIOTICS

A sick child sometimes will be traumatic
But it will never turn you to a lunatic
Do you think your children will always need antibiotics?
Then you better check with your doctor in medics.

As parents, do you expect the doctor to prescribed antibiotics every time your child is sick? Learn to ask your doctor, “Do you think an antibiotic is necessary for her/him?”
Excessive antibiotics intake can make your children body change to antibiotic resistance. When your child body is resistant to antibiotic, this will result on longer time for them to cure the next time they are affected with flue, sore throat, etc. Most of the time, antibiotics is not really necessary as it will be effective only for bacteria, while most of child diseases was caused by viruses.
